Before Your First Class

Wear comfortable workout clothes No shoes on the mat. Athletic shorts and a t-shirt work fine for your first visit.
Arrive 10 minutes early Introduces yourself to the coach before class starts — it makes a difference.
Bring water Classes are 60 minutes and move at a steady pace.
Skip the heavy meal Don't eat a large meal within 90 minutes of class.

You don't need a gi (uniform) for your first visit. We'll let you know what to get after your trial class.
